What can you say when someone this big and influential passes away? Even due to suicide most probably? Many people fail to see behind the mask of the clown - to many, Robin Williams was the incarnation of the good-spirited happy guy. Depression kills, and it does more likely when no one notices the build-up.
Williams always seemed to have a thing for animation, and his voice acting was legendary. Aside of that, his movies have been around since my childhood, and indeed have been very inspirational, in regard of questioning things and to look "behind the curtain".
I wanted to at least do a little hommage. Choosing between "Good Morning Vietnam" and "Dead Poets Society" was hard, but as I assume many drawings will pop up with characters standing on a table crying "Captain, My Captain!", I wanted to go a different way. Even if it was more work. So here we go...

I think you made a better choice with Good Morning Vietnam. It was more in line with Robbins' tragedy. Keeping up the front in the face of ever-increasing horror. Even after all this time, I still play a lot of his material and find relevance in the things he says about topics affecting us all today. Whatever awaits after, I hope he has finally found the peace he deserves.
